Actaeon is an iPhone app for hunting clubs. Your trail camera pictures become a herd you can recognize by face, and the whole camp works from the same list of which bucks to shoot and which to let walk.
The herd, by face
Every deer on the property in one grid, marked trophy, management, pass, or undecided. Filter by points, age, or the hit list, or search by name.
Every picture of him
Each deer's page holds his pictures season by season, so you can watch him grow. Keep the age estimates from your manager and your biologist side by side.
Hunting mode
A dark screen for the stand. It shows legal shooting hours and a short deck of the deer you might see, with his verdict, when he was last seen, and the hours he usually moves.
Pictures sorted for you
Add pictures from your phone and Actaeon reads the date stamp printed on each one. Then name the deer in them with a quick sweep.
Share camp with guests
Send a one-time invite link. You decide how long a guest keeps access, whether they see your Top Secret deer, and whether they can add pictures.
Your camp's rules
Season dates, deer management unit, DMAP, CWD zone, and the club's buck rule sit on the camp page where every member can check them.
Private to your camp
Your pictures and your herd are visible only to people in your camp and the guests you invite. Actaeon has no ads or analytics, and your information is never sold. The privacy policy spells out exactly what is stored and who can see it.
